AYA

Client

AYA is a booking service for beauty salons with one app for clients and one for salons, built around the line Beauty salon right next to you.

What we did

Both iOS apps, from sign-up and map search to booking, live sessions and staff management, and the investor deck, in one cream, gold and black visual language.

Beauty salon booking app for clients and salons

AYA is a booking service for beauty salons, introduced under the line Beauty salon right next to you. It runs as two iOS apps on one platform: one for clients looking for a salon or a master nearby, one for salons that manage bookings, staff and their client base. We designed both apps and the investor deck, in one visual language.

The welcome screen sets that language: a gold AYA wordmark and a serif headline on black, followed by quiet black and white screens where gold marks the sign-up steps and black the booking actions. Sign-up asks for a phone number, an SMS code, a name and an optional photo. The home feed opens on popular masters, salons nearby and the top rated ones, and a map search and a filter by category, rating, price, distance, Wi-Fi, parking or a child zone narrow the choice.

Booking flow: salon page, master, time slot, confirmation

A salon page leads with a photo header, rating and open status, quick actions to visit the website, call, find the address, message or share, and a row of the salon's specialists above tabs for About, Services, Photos and Reviews. Every master has a page of their own with specialisation, starting price, working hours, a map and a portfolio, so a client books a person rather than a free chair.

Booking moves one sheet at a time: services switched on with toggles grouped into Nails, Hair, Body and Face, a date on the calendar and a free time slot, then a summary of procedure, time, price and the master's phone to confirm. Afterwards the client keeps a calendar of bookings by day or month, favourites split into salons, works and masters, a history of services with prices, and a chat with the salon.

Salon app: bookings, live sessions and staff

The salon side reuses the same components for a different job. New requests arrive in a feed to accept or decline, bookings show as a list or as a calendar filtered by master, and a visit runs as a session: start, a live timer, then a rating for the client once it is finished. A salon with several branches switches between them above an activity feed that tracks bookings, clients and procedures.

Managers edit the salon's details and working hours, add services with a price and a duration, add masters with their schedule and years of experience, keep the client base sorted into best, new and waiting, and attach portfolio photos to the client they were made for. Settings hold several salons under one account.

Investor deck for a beauty booking marketplace

We also designed the deck AYA took to investors. It keeps the cream, gold and black of the apps, sets its headlines in a light serif and puts the product on the slides: the client and salon apps side by side, the book, pay and rate promise, a phone with the map search for the problems slide, and a roadmap laid out month by month.

The problems it names are the ones the product answers: no global marketplace of beauty salons, choosing without reviews, slow and complicated reservations, and a language barrier between client and salon. A comparison slide then sets AYA against other booking services point by point, from client and salon apps to online booking, mutual rating, a photo gallery and AI analytics.

Questions about this project

What is AYA?

AYA is a booking service for beauty salons, introduced under the line Beauty salon right next to you. It runs as two iOS apps on one platform: one for clients looking for a salon or a master nearby, one for salons that manage bookings, staff and their client base.

What did thelegacy design for AYA?

We designed both iOS apps, from sign-up and map search to booking, live sessions and staff management, and the deck AYA took to investors, all in one cream, gold and black visual language.

How does booking work in the AYA client app?

A client picks a salon or a master, switches on services grouped into Nails, Hair, Body and Face, chooses a date and a free time slot, and confirms a summary of procedure, time, price and the master's phone. Bookings then sit in a calendar by day or month, next to favourites, a history of services and a chat with the salon.

How was the AYA app style carried into the investor deck?

The deck keeps the cream, gold and black of the apps, sets its headlines in a light serif and puts the product on the slides: the client and salon apps side by side, the map search and a roadmap laid out month by month.
