banxe
Banxe brings fiat and crypto into one financial product: IBAN accounts, cards and payments sit next to an exchange with spot, futures and P2P trading, a non-custodial wallet, DeFi and crypto processing for businesses.
Web design for the Banxe Trade exchange, wallet app screens, brand identity guidelines with a prototype, social media templates and a pitch deck, all built on one hexagon-based visual system.
Product design for a fiat and crypto finance platform
Banxe is building one financial platform where, in its own words, there are no divisions into 'fiat' and 'crypto' asset types. The product lines cover IBAN accounts and cards, SEPA and SWIFT payments, a centralised exchange for spot, margin and futures trading, P2P deals, a non-custodial wallet, DeFi staking, swaps and loans, and crypto processing for businesses.
We handled web and app design across that fintech ecosystem: the Banxe Trade exchange, a DeFi staking page with APY tables, the mobile app and the brand that ties them together. The opening screens set the language for all of it: pale lavender surfaces, wide black headlines and glossy 3D hexagon tiles lettered like the product marks, C for Crypto, T for Trading, E for Ecology.
Crypto exchange web design: P2P, fast exchange, wallets
The exchange presents itself as a multifunctional trading app for spot, futures, P2P, DeFi and a fiat gateway. Ten desktop screens show it: the homepage, P2P listings, two deal screens, fast exchange, order creation, wallets, profile, notices and the market dashboard. Deposit and withdrawal pages put the network choice (ERC20, BEP20 or BEP2) next to a QR code and a history table, and the core pages are laid out again for mobile web.
The P2P deal screen carries the most logic. A four-step stepper with hexagon numbers tracks the deal, and a purple countdown shows when an offer cancels itself. Beside it, the counterparty panel lists registration date, transaction count, rating and verification level, with a Chat button, so the trust check happens without leaving the order.
Social media post templates in the hexagon style
For social channels we built post templates, and six of them run through these rows. Each frames a full-bleed picture (a classical bust, a hooded figure holding a Bitcoin cube, a melting dollar bill, an iridescent spiral) with hexagon outlines along the edges and a lettered badge in one corner. The edge hexagons take the badge colour: violet for C, the orange-to-magenta gradient for T, white for the main B mark. Headline slots such as 'Post about Fiat' sit on a gradient shape or a dark fade, so a new picture drops in without breaking the layout.
Between the posts, the first product screens appear: a desktop wallet summary, card details and a cards list holding Banxe Virtual, Banxe White and a third-party Visa card.
Wallet app screens for cards, transfers and swaps
The mobile app follows the platform's main idea: one wallet with a total balance in euros, then Fiat Money and DeFi accounts stacked below it. The tab bar holds Swap, Transfer, Portfolio and More, with Wallet raised in the centre as a violet hexagon. Card screens list Change PIN, Re-create card, Block card and Close card as rows of hexagon icons, the last two tinted red. Account analytics swaps the usual donut for a hexagonal ring split into savings, expenses, transfers and fees.
The screen wall covers in-between states: PIN creation, country and currency pickers, a cancelled order, and success screens with a green hexagon check and a copyable transaction hash. A governance page with voting cards and a UI kit of vote widgets and inputs complete the set.
Brand identity guidelines, prototype and pitch deck
The brand guidelines write down the rules the screens follow. Five product hexagons, Crypto, Trading, Business, Ecology and Fiat Money, each get their own gradient. Druk Wide is set for primary headings and numbers and Gilroy for secondary headings and content, which is why balances and page titles read wide and heavy while forms stay quiet. The colour ratio gives graphite and lavender basics 70 to 80 percent, violet accents 10 to 20, and green and red info colours a sliver.
The app is also wired as a prototype, with flows for account creation, cards, transfers, recovery, payment history, bill splitting and subscriptions. The pitch deck uses the same kit: white slides, wide headlines, hexagon outlines and app screens behind lines like 'Not a bank. More.'

Questions about this project
What is Banxe?
Banxe is building one financial platform with no division into fiat and crypto: IBAN accounts and cards, SEPA and SWIFT payments, an exchange for spot, margin and futures trading, P2P deals, a non-custodial wallet, DeFi and crypto processing for businesses.
What did thelegacy design for Banxe?
The Banxe Trade exchange for web, a DeFi staking page, wallet app screens, brand identity guidelines with an app prototype, social media post templates and a pitch deck, all built on one hexagon-based visual system.
How does the Banxe brand system work across products?
Five product hexagons, Crypto, Trading, Business, Ecology and Fiat Money, each get their own gradient. Druk Wide sets headings and numbers and Gilroy the content, and graphite and lavender take 70 to 80 percent of a layout, with violet accents at 10 to 20.
