What the work includes

  • Structure and wireframes

Every page laid out block by block in greyscale before any colour goes in, so the order of the content is settled first. The Qube and UkrCapital Trade cases show this stage.

  • Desktop and mobile layouts

Each page designed at desktop and phone width. On a phone the sections are recomposed for one column rather than shrunk, as in Battue, Catcoin and Qube.

  • Product interfaces

The screens behind the site: trading terminals, dashboards, wallets, staking vaults and carts. Flex, Optix, dEquity and Souq show them.

  • UI kit

The components the screens are built from, so the next page matches the last one. Souq, Fozeus and UkrCapital Trade include theirs.

  • Website redesign

A new structure and design for a site that already has visitors and a product behind it. Banxe is a redesign of a crypto-fiat banking product.

  • Landing pages

One page for a launch, a token or a product, such as the Flex DEX landing page built around its trading terminal and the Catcoin token site.

  • Development

We can take a site from design to launch. We wrote the front-end of the BANKEX crypto wallet and the front-end and back-end of the To The Moon game platform.

How a website project runs

  1. Structure

    (wireframes)

Pages laid out in grey, block by block, until the content and its order are agreed.

  2. Design

    (desktop, mobile, UI kit)

The visual style on the key pages first, then every page at both widths, built from one UI kit.

  3. Hand-off or build

    (files or code)

Design files and the UI kit for your developers, or the build itself when we develop the site.

Who we design websites for

UX/UI Web Design: questions and answers

What does UX/UI and web design include at thelegacy?

Page structure worked out in wireframes, the visual design of desktop and mobile layouts, and the product screens behind a site: dashboards, trading views, wallets, carts. Several cases also include the UI kit the screens are built from, as Souq, Fozeus and UkrCapital Trade do.

Which case studies show crypto exchange and DeFi interfaces?

Banxe (an exchange with P2P deals and fast exchange), Flex (a DEX landing page built around its trading terminal), Optix (an options trading dashboard and liquidity vaults), dEquity (trading for property tokens) and Souq (staking vaults and an NFT portfolio tracker).

Do you design websites for companies outside crypto?

Yes: an online store for the hookah maker Hi-Tech Club, a website with a parquet catalog for Levens, and a B2B website for the dairy ingredients supplier UkrCapital Trade.

Do you design the mobile version of a site?

Yes. The cases show mobile layouts next to desktop, and in Battue, Catcoin and Qube the sections are recomposed for a single column rather than shrunk.

How does a UI/UX design project run?

On many projects in three steps: the page structure in greyscale wireframes, then the desktop and mobile layouts, then the UI kit the screens are built from. The Flex case shows the route from greyscale structure to the final layouts, and Optix maps a whole options protocol in wireframes before the visual design.

How do I start a project with thelegacy?

Fill in the request form at the bottom of any page: your name, what you need (a new website, a redesign, branding, a mobile or desktop app) and how to reach you. You can also email hello@thelegacy.agency, write to us on Telegram or book a call with the Schedule a Meeting button.

Do you redesign existing websites?

Yes. A redesign gets a new structure and design around what the site already does and what its visitors already know. Banxe is a redesign of a crypto-fiat banking product.

Do you also develop the website?

Yes, we can take a site from design to launch. Design is the larger part of our work, and we have written code for clients too, for example the front-end of the BANKEX crypto wallet and the front-end and back-end of the To The Moon game platform.

Our UI/UX and web design services cover marketing websites, web apps and the interfaces inside them: trading terminals, dashboards, wallets and online stores. On many projects we start with greyscale wireframes, then design the desktop and mobile layouts and a UI kit. Case studies that show it include dEquity, Flex, Optix, Souq, Skynet Trading, Solid, Qube and Hi-Tech Club. A single page for a launch or a campaign is landing page design.
